A few quick hits for movies I never fully reviewed

You can’t review ‘em all. Here’s some of the movies I watched in the first seven months of 2022, but never had a chance to offer my full take on (or just forgot to write).

Jurassic Park: Dominion • Rated PG-13The bottom line: Meh. 5.5/10

The Black Phone • Rated RTerrifying, but great. 8/10

Minions: The Rise of Gru • Rated PGThe bottom line: Pass. 3/10

Nope • Rated PG-13The bottom line: Fine, but a letdown given my sky-high expectations. 7/10

Where the Crawdads Sing • Rated PG-13The bottom line: Surprisingly good, but felt a little uneven at times. 7.5/10

DC League of Super-Pets • Rated PGThe bottom line: Not my favorite animated project this year, but it’s pretty good—the trailers don’t do it justice. 8/10
